About The Position

The Business Enablement Lead (BEL) serves as a strategic partner to the Wholesale TD&O Service Delivery divisions, driving operational excellence, organizational alignment, and consistent execution of key business priorities. This role works closely with divisional leaders to oversee day to day business operations, optimize processes, and strengthen coordination across teams. Acting as a trusted advisor, the BEL provides the insights, structure, and connectivity needed to enable effective decision making and enhance overall performance. Functions as the primary liaison between the Wholesale Service Delivery Team, the broader Wholesale TD&O organization, the WHL BMO, and TEMPO, the BEL ensures seamless communication, timely information flow, and alignment of goals and initiatives. Core responsibilities include Chief of Staff–like leadership across strategic planning, operational reporting, clear communication, and business management. This includes gathering, consolidating, and communicating the division’s strategy, goals, priorities, accomplishments, risks, financials, and workforce insights. The BEL also serves as the central point of contact for enterprise and cross functional requests, ensuring responses are coordinated, accurate, and aligned with divisional objectives. Please note that candidate must be located in or willing to self-relocate to one of the following locations: Charlotte, Raleigh or Wilson, NC: Atlanta, GA or Richmond, VA as Truist has on site in office expectations 5 days per week. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum ten years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience to include general business management, consulting-type work, or other disciplines related to executive reporting, operations management, business management and/or technology.
  • Broad knowledge across multiple areas such as executive reporting, stakeholder management, finance, project management, and change management
  • Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges, and apply best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
  • Ability to exercise judgment in solving technical, operational, and organizational challenges.
  • Superior executive-level communication skills (verbal and written), including negotiation, persuasion, and ability to influence others to adopt a new perspective and handle interpersonal issues with tact and diplomacy.
  • Must possess ability to: a. Be organized, consume volumes of information, data, and synthesize in an executive summary manner b. Think critically to connect the dots across information and organizations c. Support slideware creation for deliverables at the executive level d. Provide highest level of attention to detail across all deliverables e. Establish positive working relationships across a large organization f. Work in a fast-paced environment where quick turnaround is demanded

Responsibilities

  • Support the Business Operations function spanning ET or for a leader of a specific division within ET.
  • Support leader Executive Reporting routines (including but not limited to Board, Committee, Operating, Staff, Investor Relations, External Media)
  • Support various efforts or projects of significant complexity and/or risk exposure
  • Indirectly or directly support a team or multiple teams of internal and/or external ET resources to deliver various efforts or projects
  • Identify and implement Continuous Improvements to create efficiencies in the running of the organization (including creation and maintenance of policies, procedures, and/or job aids, and process automation)
  • Establish and maintain relationships across all levels of leadership and partners including but not limited to Finance, HR, Legal / Office of the Corporate Secretary, Risk, Audit, and Communications
