About The Position

As the US Wholesale & Trade Marketing Manager, you will take a proactive role in driving, developing, and executing our wholesale and trade marketing strategy in mainly US and Canada. Working closely with the Head of Wholesale & Distribution and our HQ, you will oversee performance across key partners, identify new growth opportunities, and ensure strong brand activation across all retail channels. Your work will support both immediate sales goals and the long-term strategic growth of the market. Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in wholesale, retail sales, or commercial roles, with a proven track record of building and scaling retail partnerships that drive recurring revenue.
  • Hands-on experience working in a remote, field-based, or multi-market role, with the ability to operate independently without daily in-person support or a local office.
  • Strong understanding of the US retail landscape, including experience opening, developing, and growing accounts across multiple cities or regions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage your own time, priorities, and travel schedule, balancing frequent market visits with structured follow-up and collaboration across time zones.
  • Experience working closely with global or cross-border teams, comfortable with asynchronous communication and decision-making.
  • A builder mindset, with the resilience and adaptability to thrive in an early-stage market setup where structure, processes, and playbooks are still evolving.
  • Commercial confidence and execution strength, including negotiation, deal structuring, and in-store performance optimization.
  • Based in a major US metro area with strong retail relevance (e.g. New York or similar), with the flexibility and willingness to travel extensively across the US.

Responsibilities

  • Own full commercial responsibility for the US market, with a primary focus on building a strong and scalable wholesale and retail customer base that drives recurring revenue and long-term growth.
  • Define and execute the US wholesale and retail strategy, including identifying, onboarding, and developing high-quality retail partners with strong sell-through and repeat potential.
  • Develop hospitality partnerships as a complementary growth channel, prioritizing opportunities that strengthen brand presence, product trial, and long-term commercial value.
  • Lead the US sales agent strategy end-to-end, ensuring agents are aligned with Steamery’s retail-first growth priorities and deliver sustainable commercial results.
  • Own trade marketing as a core driver of retail performance, ensuring in-store programs, activation, and merchandising support sell-through, repeat orders, and partner loyalty.
  • Track and evaluate commercial performance with a long-term lens, balancing short-term sales with indicators such as repeat orders, partner quality, and retail performance.
