About The Position

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative Wholesale Sales Assistant to join our team. This role is central to ensuring a seamless connection between Petite Plume and our retail partners. You’ll manage product data, own retailer platform operations, serve as a key liaison across departments, and support our retailers and customers with exceptional service. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business or related field
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a sales assistant supporting wholesale accounts
  • Familiarity with managing product data, copy, images, and assets for retail accounts
  • Excellent Excel skills and comfort working in product and inventory systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and follow up
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • Internship experience a plus
  • Experience with NuOrder, DSCO and Mirakl a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support Account Executives with major accounts including Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, Maisonette and Independents
  • Maintain NuOrder with complete product information and seasonal linesheets
  • Generate, manage, update, maintain and distribute reports - Weekly style selling, inventory, customer order logs
  • Own end-to-end maintenance of all systems including Mirakl, Spring Systems, Fabric, DSCO, Shopify Collective and Nuorder
  • Upload product info to Intertrade to support retailer setup needs
  • Provide metadata and RFID info for retailer orders and new product setup
  • Complete product data, copy, assets, and UPC uploads across all retailer platforms
  • Assist with customer needs, such as EDI management, shipping and extensions, reorders, returns and exchanges as needed.
  • Maintain accuracy of PO log, tracking shipped orders and communicating invoice needs to AP
  • Monitor retailer websites to ensure correct product setup and surfacing
  • Assist in market preparation/showroom set-up and presentation to customers
  • Assist in prospecting new accounts and maintaining contact lists and client databases.
  • Coordinate with production, merchandising, creative, and customer service teams to gather assets and resolve issues
  • Provide general administrative support and assist Director of Sales with projects as needed
