About The Position

The Wholesale Associate role is responsible for a combination of both operational and sales tasks, working with the B2B channel within the BONOBOS brand. They will work hand in hand with the Wholesale Director on Nordstrom and be client facing for Dropship, NuOrder, order processing and shipping exercises. They will work with the Wholesale Director, Account Executive and planning team on inventory P & L’s and coordinating future buys with production. The Wholesale Associate will work independently with Specialty stores and own merchandising and inventory exercises in NuOrder.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of B2B co rporate wholesale experience (Apparel not required. Can be like minded categories)
  • Must be able to speak to current operations and/or retailer systems use
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • A college degree is preferred
  • Ability to travel a couple times a year
  • Positivity and eagerness in problem-solving
  • Detail oriented
  • Professional and customer-oriented
  • Value self-awareness, intellectual honesty, judgment, empathy and positive energy

Nice To Haves

  • NuOrder experience not required but preferred

Responsibilities

  • End to end management of specialty store relationships inclusive of current relationships, inbound retailer enquiries, new account management, managing assortments, orders, and shipments
  • Proactively share available inventory with the wholesale team and clients, with an understanding of assortments (a merchant perspective) that may be appropriate by channel i.e. golf, swim, sportswear, sweaters, suiting, tailored and accessories
  • Manage the life cycle of wholesale samples - placing orders seasonally, coordinating requests for major accounts, and preparing for internal meetings
  • Assist the sales team as needed in seasonal market week needs including but not limited to: showroom set up, custom assortment decks, hosting clients
  • Establish new drop ship partners
  • Pull weekly open order reports to monitor inbound ETA’s and allocations and work to improve fulfillment and turnaround times, working closely with Supply Chain and Operations
  • Work closely with tech and planning to scale dropship from 3 items to 80 annually, building a $1-$2M new sales channel
  • Provide online digital support including copy info, image requests, ensuring all live products are captured accurately for both the Wholesale Director and Account Executive
  • Work with the sales and planning teams for by-size break outs for new production needs on new buys, seasonally
  • Collaborate with DTC merchants & plann ers to identify aging inventory and transfer as needed to maximize profitability of the ATS inventory
