About The Position
Lead the creation of a new Whole Loan Operations department in a key leadership role. As VP, you'll be a subject matter expert, helping shape the strategic direction and oversee all operational aspects of the whole loan lifecycle, from acquisition to sale. This is a ground-floor opportunity to build the team, implement processes, and ensure efficient, compliant operations, working closely with senior management. Requires deep expertise in loan servicing, securitization, and regulatory reporting. Requirements
- 10+ years in Whole Loan Operations (Residential Mortgage focus - QM, Non-QM, RTL, etc.)
- Proven experience building and leading a loan operations department
- Expert knowledge of loan servicing, securitization, and regulatory reporting

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and loan servicing systems
Responsibilities
- Whole Loan Lifecycle Management: Oversee all stages (funding, servicing, sales), manage external counterparties, and ensure smooth due diligence/transfers
- Loan Acquisition & Funding: Act as liaison between trading desk, clients, and internal teams to ensure accurate, timely funding
- Loan Servicing & Reconciliation: Manage servicing relationships, reconcile remittance reports, and ensure data integrity
- Regulatory Reporting: Oversee all regulatory reporting, ensuring compliance with Dodd-Frank, Regulation AB, and other regulations
- Maintain current knowledge of all rules, regulations, and laws that apply to mortgage lending
