The Whey Dryer Operator is responsible for operating the whey permeate dryer and ensuring optimum daily performance and quality permeate and protein powder production.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
No previous experience required: on the job training provided.
Forklift Certification; in-house training for certification provided.

Nice To Haves

Minimum one (1) year of experience in a related field preferred.
Experience running a power washer and hoist preferred.
Experience troubleshooting equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure all dryers are running at optimum daily performance.
Monitor both permeate and protein dryers.
Document all readings and samples taken.
Ensure all equipment is clean and sanitized each day.
Clean and sanitize all equipment.
Inspect both dryers.
Document the CIP process.
Perform daily operations and cleaning of equipment associated with the dryer operation.
Complete all documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
