Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience including field work including wetland and stream delineations and assessments, forest delineations.
BS in Environmental Science, Ecology, Biology, Geology, Hydrology, or a related field
Training in forest, wetland, and/or stream assessment
Working knowledge of ArcGIS
Proficiency in MS Office computer software (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook)
Good teamwork skills, self-motivation, and good communication skills are required.

Nice To Haves

Water quality or environmental construction monitoring experience preferred.
NEPA compliance & environmental permit documentation, preferred.
Agency coordination and permitting experience, preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Field investigation including wetland and stream delineations and assessments, forest delineations, and/or habitat surveys.
Post-construction and maintenance monitoring of stormwater best management practices and stream restoration projects.
Environmental construction and post--construction monitoring.
Water quality monitoring
NEPA compliance and environmental permit reports and documentation.
GIS analysis and mapping, field GPS data collection; and geo-processing.
Data analysis and documentation
Technical reports.
Coordination with state & local agencies.
Tasks associated with federal, state, and local environmental permits, regulations, and policies.
Other duties as assigned.
