About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Wet Mechanical Project Manager / Superintendent to be part of our team in West Lafayette, IN, beginning onsite at the project on or before May 1st 2026. The Wet Mechanical Project Manager / Superintendent is responsible for planning, executing, and supervising all aspects of process gas system installation on semiconductor construction projects. This role ensures the safe, compliant, and on-schedule delivery of high-purity and specialty gas systems critical to semiconductor manufacturing operations. The successful candidate must be self-motivated, technically skilled, highly organized, communicate clearly and have a proven ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Candidates’ work history must represent increased levels of responsibility on a progressive basis throughout their career. Local Candidates Highly Preferred. A relocation package may be available. Qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the USA Key Responsibilities and Qualifications – Wet Mechanical Construction (Semiconductor) Lead and manage all wet mechanical construction activities for a greenfield semiconductor manufacturing facility. Maintain ownership of site construction performance tracking systems, including development and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs). Serve as a key stakeholder within the on-site Construction Management (CM) team, overseeing multiple projects from design through construction, commissioning, and close-out. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal business partners, clients, and external stakeholders. Communicate project status, risks, and progress updates to client management, internal teams, and external parties as required. Utilize and maintain proficiency in construction management tools, including Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Excel, and other project control systems. Ensure project scope, schedule, budget, and forecasts are properly developed, tracked, and executed to meet project objectives. Prepare and deliver project reports and documentation, coordinate closely with Facilities Operations, Engineering & Design, and Client Management teams. Coordinate with local government agencies to support permitting, inspections, and regulatory compliance. Foster strong working relationships with the Owner and trade partners to promote productivity, safety, and continuous improvement. Technical Expertise Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical system design and sizing, including MAUs, scrubbers, chillers, and related systems. Experience with process mechanical systems, including process cooling water (PCW), chilled water, boilers, and cooling towers. Proven experience in construction, startup, commissioning, and turnover of mechanical systems in complex facilities. Working knowledge of controls and automation methods for mechanical and process systems. Experience managing the design and execution of cleanroom HVAC systems, hydronic systems, and plumbing systems in semiconductor or high-tech environments.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8+ years of construction experience in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, oil & gas, or similar industrial facility environments.
  • Proven experience with high-purity piping systems, cleanroom environments, base build systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of applicable industrial construction codes and standards, with a preference for semiconductor facility experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of SEMI, NFPA, CGA, and high-purity system requirements, along with general familiarity with other relevant codes and standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experienced in document control systems and processes.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical system design and sizing, including MAUs, scrubbers, chillers, and related systems.
  • Experience with process mechanical systems, including process cooling water (PCW), chilled water, boilers, and cooling towers.
  • Proven experience in construction, startup, commissioning, and turnover of mechanical systems in complex facilities.
  • Working knowledge of controls and automation methods for mechanical and process systems.
  • Experience managing the design and execution of cleanroom HVAC systems, hydronic systems, and plumbing systems in semiconductor or high-tech environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience on semiconductor fabrication (fab) projects.
  • OSHA 30 or equivalent safety certification.
  • Experience with BIM coordination and modular construction methods.
