About The Position

Blackberry Mountain is seeking a friendly, welcoming Supervisor to join our Wellness team. The Wellness Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Assistant Director and Wellness team in daily operations within our Wellness spaces. The Wellness Supervisor will assist with scheduling, guest inquiries, activity requests, bookings, class setup/breakdown, and all other department needs. Requirements

Must have excellent verbal communication skills
Must have the ability to prepare/write educational materials for guests
Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, managers and team members
Basic knowledge and understanding of math
Ability to calculate calorie and nutrient requirements
Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals
Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
Lift and/or move objects weighing up to ten 10 lbs. and equipment up to 75 lbs.
Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle or golf cart

Nice To Haves

Experience in Fitness/Wellness preferred individual/group counseling preferred
Previous hospital or wellness center experience preferred
Current CPR Certification preferred

Responsibilities

Ensure confidentiality with respect to guest data according to HIPAA regulations and Blackberry Farm and Blackberry Mountain confidentiality guidelines
Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered
Perform prep work, properly clean and pre-stock and restock Wellness spaces and equipment as needed
Maintain a working knowledge of the Company’s property, as well as special events on and near the property, in order to advise guest of the same, whenever possible
Ensure a maximum level of guest service and satisfaction is achieved and maintained
Attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the wellness team
Assist in all areas of HUB operation as requested by management
Maintain a professional reputation in the company and community
Perform any tasks deemed necessary by the manager
Be a hospitable Wellness presence and host for all Wellness spaces
Greet and guide guests to proper Wellness spaces
Answer inquiries regarding all Wellness offerings
Assist Wellness Instructors with class setups and breakdowns
Respond to guest’s requests and individual needs in a timely manner
Assist in booking wellness activities
Perform any tasks deemed necessary by the manager
Must comply with all company policies and procedures.
To perform the essential functions of this position regular and consistent attendance is required.
Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers and interact with our guests.
