About The Position

The Wellness Program Manager at HealthFitness is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating health promotion programs at client sites in Anderson, South Carolina. This entry-level position focuses on driving participation and customer satisfaction while managing operational aspects of on-site fitness programs. The role includes ensuring contract compliance, managing budgets, and creating outcomes-focused reports to assess program effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field along with 1+ years of industry experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Industry experience in program management in a health plan or related environment.
  • Adult CPR/AED & First Aid certifications from recognized organizations.
  • Industry recognized certification in Personal Training or Group Exercise Instruction.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Experience in corporate wellness program development.
  • Knowledge of health promotion strategies and interventions.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure contract compliance and maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement the yearly strategic business plan to meet client objectives.
  • Prepare and manage the operating budget, ensuring compliance with policies.
  • Manage the development of outcomes-focused programs to meet client needs.
  • Track participant and program data for measuring goal achievement and outcomes.
  • Direct the implementation of individual and group fitness programs and health education activities.
  • Coordinate marketing and communications to maximize program engagement.
  • Assess the effectiveness of health education interventions and enhance delivery methods.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of collected data.
  • Manage a Champion Network and engage with stakeholders.
