About The Position

The Wellness Practice Manager contributes to AHF by providing strategic leadership and oversight at the Wellness on Western location. They actively lead cross-functional teams in cooperation with the other leadership staff, ensuring effective management of day-to-day operations, employee engagement, and patient satisfaction initiatives. This dedication guarantees the seamless delivery of care in alignment with AHF's mission. The Practice Managers leadership extends across PrEP census growth and retention, client experience, quality assurance, process improvement, and overall operational performance. The incumbent leads a multidisciplinary team and routinely coordinates with other AHF business lines and community partners to maximize the delivery of testing and prevention services. The Practice Manager contributes to the Public Health Division by fostering a nibble, team-oriented work environment, emphasizing individual accountability, and promoting a patient centered approach. Additionally, the position works both independently and as part of a team to successfully manage simultaneous projects that allow AHF to meet our mission.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of Database software and Word Processing software.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time.
  • Sensitivity to patient population and issues surrounding HIV/AIDS.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Familiarity with word processing and data base management principles.
  • Valid Drivers License with proof of liability insurance.
