About The Position
Sunrise Meadows Senior Living is seeking a talented Wellness Director/Director of Nursing to join their team. The primary purpose of this role is to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Wellness Department. This position ensures the delivery of the highest quality assisted living services, with a focus on maximizing residents' individual capabilities.
Requirements
- Current CPR/First Aid certification.
- Nurse management experience including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
Nice To Haves
- Active, RN/LVN/LPN license
- Experience as a supervisor in a healthcare setting; hospital (geriatrics), skilled nursing or assisted living facility
Responsibilities
- Manage the day to day operation of the Wellness Department.
- Ensure that all residents receive quality care and maximize resident's individual capabilities.
- Complete resident assessments for resident level of care and appropriate placement.
- Develop, implement and update Service Plans.
- Ensure proper and timely records reporting and documentation
- Assist in the recruiting, hiring and training of Wellness team.
- Responsible for leadership including engagement, performance management and evaluations of Wellness staff.
