Wellness and Exercise Science Instructor
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in exercise science, education, psychology, or a related field
- Advanced degree in exercise physiology, exercise science, kinesiology, or related discipline.
- Three years of successful exercise science or related field experience in the fitness and wellness industry
- Demonstrate excellence in teaching, research and service

- Professional experiences in diverse settings
- Demonstrated record of leadership
- Commitment to teaching students from diverse backgrounds and learning styles
- Experience using technology for teaching, learning and administration
- Experience with online and hybrid course delivery
- Professional certification such as ACSM , NSCA , ACE
- Comfort in interdisciplinary teaching and scholarship
