Well Construction Fluids Lab Technician
About The Position
Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time. Ensure that laboratory equipment is in clean, working condition and that waste is regularly disposed. Develop the competency level required to perform advanced additive selection to optimized and troubleshoot fluid's technical performance. Evaluate and develop new chemistries or alternative suppliers of existing chemistries for use in well construction fluids. Collaborate or mentor peers to share knowledge or experience aimed at improving efficiency or quality of laboratory operations. Prepare technical presentations for internal and external customers. Perform regular audits to ensure the laboratory operates according to required standards. Assist the sales, supply chain, operating locations, and operational teams with technical support as required. Perform risk analysis before each task or job to identify and mitigate potential safety or quality concerns. Participate in Service Quality Meetings with internal stakeholders to improve performance using action plans. Participate in HSE and Quality initiatives. Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
