About The Position

Braun Intertec is seeking a Construction Materials Lab Technician to join our Dallas, TX office. As a technician, you will perform a variety of testing on construction materials such as soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt. Requirements

  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • The ability to lift 50-75+ pounds

Responsibilities

  • Receive and log concrete and soil samples
  • Performs and understand various laboratory test procedures
  • Assist in AMRL and CCRL (regulatory standards) assessments
  • Assist with Braun Quality system for the laboratory
  • Enter and understand lab data
  • Other miscellaneous laboratory tasks as assigned
