Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age (required)
1 year of experience in Senior Living, with 1 year of experience working with persons living with dementia (required)
High School Diploma/GED required; college degree in healthcare, therapy, education, social work, or related field preferred
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with proven interpersonal abilities
Computer literacy and accurate documentation skills
Ability to work effectively with residents, families, staff, and community partners

Responsibilities

Facilitate Memory Wellness programming for residents with dementia and cognitive impairments
Collaborate with team members to implement a routine-based activity schedule
Lead sensory-based and purposeful activities tailored to resident interests
Support a therapeutic, dementia-friendly environment
Promote residents’ physical, mental, and spiritual well-being
Encourage personal interests and empower individual capabilities
