We are seek ing a professional, innovative and detail-oriented individual for our Welding Process Engineer position within our Vertical Integration Division . Requirements

  • US Citizen
  • B.S. in Welding Engineering or related technical field
  • K nowledge able in welding metallurgy and GTAW and GMAW processes
  • Strong problem-solving skills and can effectively manage projects
  • S trong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
  • Q uick to learn new skills and open to taking on new responsibilities
  • Enjoy working in a team environment
  • Lift, push, pull and maneuver up to 40 pounds frequently
  • Sit and/or stand at least 8 hours
  • Vision correctable to 20/30 or better
  • Differentiate color

Nice To Haves

  • E xperience developing and supporting welding process es in a manufacturing environment
  • Extensive experience working in accordance with standards/specifications , especially military or aerospace specifications
  • Working knowledge of NDT processes
  • Hands-on experience with welding and fabrication processes

Responsibilities

  • Provide welding engineering s upport to design, fabrication , and support teams
  • Specify, develop, implement, and sustain welding and welding - related processe s
  • Improve quality, yield, efficiency, and capacity of welding processes in accordance with strategic objectives
  • Apply problem solving skills to identify root cause
  • E valuate new equipment and processes
  • Interpret results and provide recommendations to management
