About The Position

Butte Fence is looking for a Welder/Steel Fabricator to join our local team here in Meridian! This person will ensure the success of fencing projects through effective welding of various metal components and operating of machinery that fabricates and repairs metal structures, equipment, or machines. Must be able to follow written and verbal directions, and pass a welding test.

Requirements

• 1 year welding experience preferred.
• Be able to complete a Fab and Fit-Up test during the interview process.
• Forklift certified preferred.
• Comfortable using power tools such as drills, saws, and angle grinders.
• Willingness to learn and positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year welding experience preferred.
• Forklift certified preferred.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge and operation of welding equipment, hand tools, power tools and production equipment.
• Inspects your own work for accuracy and completion to meet high quality standards.
• Maintains a safe and clean work area and restocks supplies and materials, as necessary.
• Assists in installation or assemblies in our warehouse.
• Demonstrates strong organizational skills, job planning, and problem solving.
