The Welding Associate, level I, performs aluminum welding processes with TIG, MIG on light gauge 12 through 20 stainless steel and aluminum. The Welding Associate welds all types of commonly used metals and alloys of various sizes, shapes, and thicknesses, including metals such as copper to steel. Able to operate miscellaneous hand-welding, torch-cutting, or welding equipment for welding or join metal components or to fill holes, dents, or seams in fabricated metal products. Able to configure, operate, and/or monitor robots that perform welding or heat treatment work on products, components, or metal assemblies.
