Requirements

  • Previous metal fabrication and/or welding experience
  • Basic blueprint reading and mechanical skills
  • Experience with at least one welding process and ability to obtain AWS D1.1 certification
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly (lifting devices available)
  • Willingness to perform cleaning, grinding, and weld prep work

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma, technical training, or equivalent education
  • One (1) year or more of welding or metal fabrication experience
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment

Responsibilities

  • Weld steel and/or aluminum parts per blueprints using MIG, TIG, FCAW, or SMAW processes
  • Use fixtures to position components and control distortion
  • Perform grinding, cleaning, and deburring as needed
  • Complete required job paperwork and labor documentation
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Perform self-inspections and adhere to quality standards
  • Support preventative maintenance and assist coworkers as needed
