Lays out, fits, and welds fabricated, cast, and forged components to assemble structural forms such as machinery frames, tanks, pressure vessels, furnace shells, and building and bridge parts by performing the following duties. This role requires the individual to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, including selecting equipment, planning layout, positioning, aligning, fitting, bolting, clamping, tack-welding, and setting up equipment for various welding techniques (arc, gas-shielded arc, submerged arc, gas, TIG, MIG). The Welder will also be responsible for repairing products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts, and operating power tools like grinders and saws as needed.
