About The Position
Job Title: Welder (Stick Welding, SMAW) Location: Brandon, MS Employment Type: Full Time Pay: $28-$32 per hour plus overtime
Requirements
- 4+ years SMAW experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Pass drug screening and background check
Responsibilities
- Perform stick welding to join metal components, ensuring strong, clean, and precise welds.
- Set up, adjust, and maintain welding equipment, including selecting appropriate electrodes and settings for various materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Inspect completed welds for accuracy, strength, and compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations, properly using personal protective equipment (PPE) to maintain a safe work environment.
