About The Position
We’re hiring a Welder / Shop Helper for our Southeast Houston client! We are looking for experienced, reliable, hard-working employees who can interview immediately! DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB: · Job Title: Welder / Shop Helper · Location: Southeast Houston · Pay: $21-$23/hr. · Hours: 6am-2:30pm M-F · Duration: temp-to-hire · Description of Duties: Assist shop lead as directed; Gather materials for jobs; Perform maintenance, repair, paint, fabricate and weld metal products; Interpret drawings & prints; Operate forklifts, soldering tools, cutting torch, MIG welder, etc. · Requirements: 2+ years’ MIG welding, HS Diploma or GED, Ability to operator forklift, Ability to read/interpret blueprints, diagrams and sketches WHO WE ARE: Carlton Staffing is a local staffing firm in Texas with over 44 years of experience! Requirements
- 2+ years’ MIG welding
