About The Position

IEG (Impact Environmental Group) is looking for an experienced Lead Welder to support daily production and help guide welding operations on the shop floor. This role is ideal for a skilled MIG welder who takes pride in quality work and can help keep projects running efficiently. Join a growing manufacturing team that produces products for the global waste and recycling industry while working a stable weekday schedule . Schedule Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Full-time | Weekends Off

Requirements

• 3+ years MIG welding experience
• Strong knowledge of welding setup and adjustments
• Ability to weld in multiple positions
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately
• Experience working in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
• Reliable with strong attention to detail
• Ability to support, work closely and lead the welding production team

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on flat, curved, and vertical surfaces
• Set up welding machines (gas, voltage, amperage, wire speed)
• Support workflow and help maintain production efficiency
• Assist team members with welding questions and best practices
• Inspect welds and finished parts to ensure quality standards
• Use electric power tools and fabrication equipment safely
• Read tape measures and follow production specifications
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment
