About The Position

As our next Metal Fabricator (Welder) – Day Shift , you will play a key role in delivering high-quality products in a clean, air-conditioned, and state-of-the-art environment. Perform specialized welding and custom metal fabrication to support production needs Diagnose issues, design solutions, and repair production equipment efficiently Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding (including stainless steel sheet metal) Fabricate, assemble, grind, drill, and finish metal components Set up fabrication equipment (press brakes, shears) and create custom templates Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery using manuals Complete assigned work orders and support production timelines Maintain safety standards, inspect work quality, and keep a clean workspace Occasionally assist in training personnel

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Mechanical Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–4 years of welding/fabrication experience in an industrial environment
  • Advanced mechanical and fabrication skills required
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in reading technical documents and communicating effectively
  • Solid math skills (geometry, algebra, measurements)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Access
  • Ability to work day shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM), Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays)
  • Regular standing, walking, bending, and use of tools
  • Frequent lifting up to 25 lbs; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Good vision and manual dexterity required
  • Up to 25% local travel and ability to operate a motor vehicle
