Key Responsibilities Perform welding operations using TIG (GTAW) as well as electric resistance, oxyacetylene, plasma-arc, and other approved welding processes. Weld metals and alloys of varying thicknesses, configurations, and specifications using proper technique to meet quality and structural requirements. Select appropriate welding electrodes, filler metals, and consumables to ensure proper penetration, fusion, and weld integrity. Fabricate, assemble, modify, or repair metal products and structures based on blueprints, layouts, technical drawings, and work instructions. Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and adherence to company and industry standards. Set up, operate, and maintain welding tools, TIG equipment, and related machinery. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and engineering personnel to meet production needs and deadlines. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Welding certification preferred (TIG certification preferred). Minimum of two (2) years of welding experience, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of welding materials, equipment, and best practices. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
