2nd Shift Soft Serve- Welder I
About The Position
Perform a wide variety of complicated and difficult manual and automatic gas metal arc (MIG) , and gas tungsten arc (TIG) , as well as rough and finish grinding operations necessary to meet production requirements. May be required to work without blueprints, sketches, weld symbols, and process sheets to establish procedures and sequence of operations; perform setups of tooling and fixtures, as well as layouts of components to be welded. Identify and/or devise basic tooling. Maintain welding equipment and work area for a safe and efficient operation. Perform own material handling and follow good housekeeping and safety practices. Initiate corrective action to resolve complex problems, and report major malfunctions and continuing difficulties to supervisor. Advise and assist others as directed. Perform other miscellaneous duties including in-field service and, on occasion assist in product failure analysis and troubleshooting, as required. Requires a high degree of ability to plan a course of action and layout involved and complex jobs. Requires the use of considerable ingenuity, initiative, and judgment. Must have concentrated and exacting mental and visual attention and over five years of experience. A Welding Test Will Be Required and Conducted During The In-Person Interview. Must Pass to be considered for the position.
