About The Position

Job Summary: Assist experienced welders with preparing materials, operating equipment, and maintaining a safe work environment to support the welding process. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Assists Welder I and Welder II in various welding tasks as directed. Prepares workpieces for welding by cleaning, grinding, and scraping as necessary. Helps set up welding equipment and tools under supervision. Handles and stores welding materials and equipment properly. Operates power tools and hand tools under guidance. Reads and interprets basic welding blueprints and instructions. Assists in tack welding components together for final welding. Supports Welder I and Welder II in maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Learns and follows safety procedures and guidelines at all times. Requirements

• This is an entry level position.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to operate and maintain production equipment.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
