About The Position
Welds materials using a variety of processes primarily FCAW and GMAW REQUIRED COMPETENCIES Produces quality welds as specified in work order. Follows welding procedures and directions of supervisor. Uses basic welders tools and equipment. Performs general daily maintenance tasks and checks of welding equipment Upkeep and cleanliness of work areas. Follow company safety & security guidelines Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this job. Other duties as needed. DESIRED Essential duties and responsibilities Operates forklift and other material handling equipment to move materials and manipulate workpiece. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. DESIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Previous experience Use of barcode and computer equipment to record production operations
