About The Position

The Production Welder is capable of performing a variety of welding functions. The individual should be familiar with and capable of using various types of welding equipment. A welder is also required to perform other miscellaneous tasks, as supervision deems necessary.

Requirements

High School Diploma or its equivalent
At least 3-6 months welding experience
Thoroughness

Certified forklift operator
Aluminum Welding experience
Experience working in Automotive Manufacturing
Welding certificate

Responsibilities

Performs work orders as assigned by department supervisor
TIG welding Stainless Steel and Aluminum
Cuts, clips, hooks or otherwise assembles the materials to produce sub-assemblies or finished product from raw materials.
Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages
Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes
Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
Place finished goods on the designated pallet
Put received inventory into correct locations
Internal inventory cycle counts
Maintain a clean and safe work area
