Work Description: Help welder plan and lay out welding sequence Help welder select size and type of material for welding application Position pieces to be welded using measuring instruments and hand tools Help welder perform welding operations on a wide range of metals and alloys and using different techniques Operate saw, shear, forklift, and crane Finish applications using manual and power tools Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma / GED required
  • Exposure to / knowledge of MIG, Dual Shield, and TIG welding preferred
  • Knowledge of overhead crane, drill press, and mills
  • Previous experience operating forklift and crane equipment preferred
  • Ability to learn welding, fitting, and other fabrication applications required
