As a Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing your team to achieve production goals and maintain high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Hands-On Work: Actively participate in production tasks alongside team members, demonstrating skills and knowledge. Identify opportunities for process improvement and coach team members to implement changes. Ensure finished products meet quality standards through hands-on inspection and verification. Oversee welding team Ensure conformance to safety requirements Verify quality of welds Train new and apprentice welders Troubleshoot welding equipment issues Monitor project progress Coordinate welding team to fit project goals Comprehend Technical Drawings and Other Visual Instructions Give Visual, Written, and Oral Instructions Safety Regulations and Procedures Welding Active Listening Communication - Internal and External Continuous Improvement Supervisory Responsibilities: Train new team members on safety procedures, job duties, and quality standards. Ensure team members have the necessary materials and resources to complete tasks efficiently. Monitor team performance and provide feedback to improve productivity and quality. Collaborate with department leaders to optimize operations and achieve production goals. Identify and address issues related to efficiency and quality.
