Opportunity Overview: Weld Inspector Contract Position for 1 month Welding Inspector to support outage at the South Texas Project Nuclear facility in Wadsworth, Texas. As the Welding Inspector you will complete on- site inspections during the outage. You must have demonstrated experience in a similar position.
Requirements
- 5+ Years of experience in a Welding Inspector role
- 3 +years of experience as a welder
- 3+ year of experience in nuclear
- Current AWS CWI Certification Required
- NDT Level II
- You will successfully pass the nuclear background and fitness for duty.
Responsibilities
- Inspect welds in all areas.
- Communicate with the weld group, outage manager to determine the requirements of a given work order, including the scope of work, deliverables, schedule, and budget for a assignment
- Quality control and quality assurance process;
- Read and communicate complex design and fabrication plans and specifications;
- Communicate technical issues immediately
