Welcome Center Attendant
About The Position
The welcome/pool attendant welcome guests to the pool facility and always be courteous and friendly to guests, be attentive to their needs, handle problems in a professional manner and are conscious of the importance of safety. Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging services Welcome guests to the pool facility and ensure they have a safe and enjoyable experience Oversee the cleanliness and the daily upkeep of the pool, pool area, locker and change rooms Ensure guests are aware of all services and activities available at the pool Ensure an adequate supply of towels are available to guest Assist in promoting the facility and organizing special events as required Maintain pool deck cleanliness
Requirements
- 16 years of age or older
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Flexible availability including days, evening, weekends and summer holidays.
- Must be able to climb stairs and carrying items weighing 25 - 50 pounds.
- Good communication is important, as is being able to follow directions efficiently and meeting the physical demands of the job.
- Must be able to clearly communicate Member needs to other Staff Members.
- A positive attitude while on the job is also essential
Nice To Haves
- Previous guest service experience preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
