About The Position

The Weigh & Dispense Technician is responsible for accurately weighing, measuring, and dispensing raw materials used in gummy vitamin production. This role ensures all ingredients are prepared in accordance with batch records, quality standards, and safety regulations. The technician plays a key part in maintaining product consistency, regulatory compliance, and efficient production flow.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Prior experience in food, nutraceutical, or pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred.
Strong math skills and ability to work with weights, measurements, and conversion units.
Ability to read and follow detailed batch records and SOPs.
Good attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation practices.
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent communication and teamwork
Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Commitment to quality, safety, and compliance
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with GMP regulations and HACCP principles is a plus.

Responsibilities

Accurately weigh, measure, and dispense raw materials according to batch records and production schedules.
Verify material identity, lot numbers, expiration dates, and quantities before dispensing.
Use uWei to ensure proper ingredients and lots are dispensed and inventory is properly tracked and maintained.
Document all activities in batch records, logs, and inventory systems with precision and compliance to GMP standards.
Prepare and stage ingredients for mixing, cooking, and depositing operations.
Operate scales, balances, dispensing equipment, and material-handling tools safely and effectively.
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant dispensing room, including proper sanitation and environmental controls.
Follow SOPs, GMP, and safety guidelines at all times, including proper gowning and allergen control procedures.
Assist with counting, labeling, and managing raw material inventory, report shortages and discrepancies promptly.
Support production teams to ensure efficient workflow and minimize downtime.
Participate in training, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
