Our dedicated part-time supervisors lead production teams through solving problems and monitoring key operating processes and equipment while promoting and encouraging safe working practices for their co-workers. A successful supervisor will work to identify areas of improvement for our warehouse operations during their shift to achieve their targets in a highly automated and fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, but a concentration in engineering, supply chain management, science, or related subject area is strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2.8 GPA must be in engineering, science, or supply chain
  • Previous Supply Chain or Logistics experience, warehousing focused
  • Solid interpersonal skills and team orientation
  • Technical and problem-solving skills
  • Data analysis or financial acumen
  • Leadership skills, a comfort level with change, and the ability to lead change is essential and critical to this position

Responsibilities

  • Manage, coach, assist and direct workforce for shipping and receiving of finished products, new materials, and trade returns
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain production plans, inventories, and labor schedule
  • Coordinate maintenance activities to meet schedule
  • Enforce Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs), safe working practices, department policies and maintain records
  • Coach workforce through troubleshooting and monitoring of operating processes and equipment
  • Utilize management system toolkit and methodologies to ensure key performance indicators and targets are achieved
  • Lead process improvement and initiate change
  • Work with senior leaders to drive process improvement initiatives
  • Primarily working off shifts in a continuous manufacturing environment
