About The Position

At Safecor Health, we are experiencing exciting growth, and we are seeking a Weekend Shift Packaging Operations Supervisor to join our dynamic team! This role is integral to overseeing our packaging operations and ensuring the success of our dedicated team. As a Weekend Shift Packaging Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and supervising the packaging team on our weekend shift. Your leadership will play a critical role in achieving daily production and quality goals, fostering a safe work environment, and ensuring that all processes meet regulatory requirements. This position is available due to our company's exciting growth, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact! Please Note: This is a temporary position with an anticipated duration through spring 2026, subject to change. We also ask that you are available to train for up to two weeks starting at 2:00pm, before transitioning to your schedule.

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience in pharmaceutical packaging
  • Previous experience as a lead technician or in a supervisory role, or equivalent industry experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in PC Windows and computer hardware
  • Working knowledge of mechanical packaging equipment
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work reliably and efficiently
  • Knowledge of repackaging processes and equipment
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical packaging equipment
  • Strong supervisory and leadership abilities, with a focus on teamwork and achieving results
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements (FDA, cGMP) for pharmaceutical packaging operations
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • High degree of accuracy and efficiency in all tasks

Nice To Haves

  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support packaging technicians (4) to ensure they meet daily production and quality requirements
  • Provide training to new employees, offer guidance and coaching, and perform performance evaluations
  • Collaborate with the quality team to ensure labeling accuracy and quality assurance on finished products
  • Ensure the work environment remains safe and OSHA compliant for all team members
  • Respond promptly to customer needs, including handling repackaging requests efficiently
  • Manage repackaging labels and associated paperwork with high accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with operating procedures and cGMP requirements
  • Support special projects as needed
