Weekend Registered Nurse - Home Visits
About The Position
Valley Health at Home by BAYADA is currently seeking a Weekend Registered Nurse, RN for an opportunity to perform home health visits with adult and senior patients. This office works with clients located throughout the Las Vegas Valley. Please note: current / recent experience in a Medicare Home Health setting with OASIS documentation is required for this position. As a home health RN, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home.
Requirements
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state of Nevada.
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
- At least one year of current or recent hands-on medical experience within the past two years with the adult/geriatric population in acute care, emergency department, home health, hospice, ICU, med surg, sub-acute care or rehab units (medical or skilled nursing settings).
- As an accredited, regulated, certified, and licensed home health care provider, BAYADA complies with all state/local mandates.
- current / recent experience in a Medicare Home Health setting with OASIS documentation is required for this position.

Responsibilities
- Use strong head-to-toe assessment skills with the ability to identify subtle changes in patient condition
- Utilize your experience with acute and post-acute care (e.g., CHF, COPD, wound care, IV therapy, post-surgical care)
- Triage and manage urgent clinical situations independently in the home setting
- Perform medication reconciliation, teaching, and safety monitoring
- Perform comprehensive wound assessment, care, and documentation
