About The Position

A warm and loving family in Philadelphia, PA is looking for a live-in weekend nanny for their two young children, ages 2-years-old, and 5-months-old. The family is also open to a candidate who is local and wants live-out, but asks for flexibility and availability if live-out. The general schedule is Saturday 1pm-9pm, and Sunday 7am-3pm for 16 hours per weekend guaranteed, with some flexibility for schedule changes. The family also has a dog, candidates who are comfortable around pets is a plus.

Requirements

Experience with infants and toddlers is a must
Experience working with 2 children under the age of 4, or lots of comparable experience
Confident and experienced
Can take direction well, but also be proactive and not need managing
Must have spent time in, and be comfortable in Philadelphia
Comfortable with a dog
Legal to work in the US

Nice To Haves

Drivers license is a plus, but not a strict requirement

Responsibilities

Overall childcare for the two children
Engage children in age-appropriate activities
Prepare or warm up healthy meals and snacks for the children
Maintain the daily routine and structure, while also allowing the children to play and enjoy their weekend
Work as a team with the parents when they are home
Light child related housework such as washing bottles and helping keep child areas cleaned up and tidy
Comfortable taking the children on outings and doing activities around Philadelphia
