Requirements

Applicant must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret personnel security clearance or be eligible to obtain one.
Seven (7) years of experience in Engineering or Information Systems discipline.
Experience with systems engineering, configuration management, and lifecycle support.
Familiarity with CMMI, QA processes, and reliability engineering practices.
Experience with technical documentation, drawings, and engineering change processes.
Knowledge of test and evaluation, system integration, and environmental qualification testing.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience supporting DoD or Navy systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Research, develop, design, manufacture, and test tools, engines, machines and other mechanical devices.
Ability to work on power-producing machines such as electric generators, internal combustion engines, and steam and gas turbines.
Develop power-using machines such as refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment, machine tools, material handling systems, elevators and escalators, industrial production equipment, and robots used in manufacturing.
Perform system troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and design development for system upgrades, improvements, and modernization.
Develop hardware processes, enhancements, and procedures for development, testing, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and training.
Prepare and update engineering drawings, schematics, system diagrams, technical manuals, and as-built documentation.
Provide engineering evaluation reports on conceptual designs and system analyses.
Support configuration changes, resolve Problem Reports and Casualty Reports (CASREPs), and maintain configuration control.
Develop innovative techniques and prototype concepts to support ISEA functions and system improvements.
Develop and maintain systems engineering documents including: Test plans and procedures Interface design specifications Technical reports and analyses
