Requirements

  • Applicant must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret personnel security clearance or be eligible to obtain one.
  • Seven (7) years of experience in Engineering or Information Systems discipline.
  • Experience with systems engineering, configuration management, and lifecycle support.
  • Familiarity with CMMI, QA processes, and reliability engineering practices.
  • Experience with technical documentation, drawings, and engineering change processes.
  • Knowledge of test and evaluation, system integration, and environmental qualification testing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting DoD or Navy systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Research, develop, design, manufacture, and test tools, engines, machines and other mechanical devices.
  • Ability to work on power-producing machines such as electric generators, internal combustion engines, and steam and gas turbines.
  • Develop power-using machines such as refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment, machine tools, material handling systems, elevators and escalators, industrial production equipment, and robots used in manufacturing.
  • Perform system troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and design development for system upgrades, improvements, and modernization.
  • Develop hardware processes, enhancements, and procedures for development, testing, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and training.
  • Prepare and update engineering drawings, schematics, system diagrams, technical manuals, and as-built documentation.
  • Provide engineering evaluation reports on conceptual designs and system analyses.
  • Support configuration changes, resolve Problem Reports and Casualty Reports (CASREPs), and maintain configuration control.
  • Develop innovative techniques and prototype concepts to support ISEA functions and system improvements.
