About The Position

Flowers for Dreams is ushering in a craft flower movement. Locally crafted flowers for fair and honest prices across locations in Chicago, Milwaukee and Detroit, as well as overnight shipping to most of the Great Lakes region. We are looking for a dedicated individual to manage our strike team on Friday nights. This individual attends logistics meetings, schedules a team, runs dispatch, and more. The Wedding Strike team is a weekend evening and overnight commitment in charge of the team that breaks down hardware, florals and decor at venues and then transports back to our studio. Responsibilities

• Pack wedding flowers and materials
• Ensure teams have proper supplies
• Proper communication with all wedding teams via google chat
• Keeping track of striked inventory: returned, damaged, cleaned, etc
• Drive Flowers for Dreams cargo vehicles
• Working hours 9PM - 3AM
• Breakdown hardware, floral decor, greenery, table decor, arches, etc
• Clean and organize event and wedding studio
• Flexibility with time frames & duties
• Ability to work long hours on feet, working with your hands, heavy lifting
• Maintain an upbeat, positive, energetic attitude
• Ability to remain calm and problem solve while working under time pressure
• Abide by Flowers for Dreams dress code while at venues
