About The Position

We’re seeking a skilled and organized Website Operations Specialist to support the day-to-day management, optimization, and growth of our two Shopify websites—one focused on ecommerce (B2C) and the other serving our B2B customers. As part of a small, collaborative marketing team, you’ll be the hands-on expert keeping our sites accurate, functional, and conversion-focused. You’ll handle everything from updating products and launching promotions to improving SEO and coordinating technical updates with our web developer. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves Shopify, enjoys variety in their work, and takes pride in creating a seamless online experience for customers and partners.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience managing and updating Shopify websites.
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce site operations and best practices.
  • Proficiency with Shopify admin, theme customization, and Liquid basics.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, and SEO fundamentals.
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for light content or layout adjustments.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities in a small team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Shopify Plus or Shopify B2B tools.
  • Understanding of accessibility and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday).
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager, UTM tracking, or other analytics integrations.
  • Exposure to email/CRM tools such as Klaviyo or HubSpot.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of both Shopify websites (B2C & B2B).
  • Add, edit, and organize products, collections, pricing, and inventory details.
  • Create and update site content, banners, and landing pages using Shopify’s CMS and theme editor.
  • Coordinate theme updates and QA all site changes before publishing live.
  • Ensure brand consistency, accessibility, and mobile optimization across pages.
  • Set up and schedule discount codes, sales, and seasonal promotions.
  • Build campaign and landing pages for new product launches and marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to ensure timely and accurate execution.
  • QA promotions across devices and browsers to ensure flawless functionality.
  • Maintain and update on-page SEO elements (meta data, alt text, structured data).
  • Monitor site health through Google Search Console, Core Web Vitals, and Shopify analytics.
  • Track and report on traffic, conversions, and site engagement using GA4 and Shopify data.
  • Support CRO testing and identify opportunities to improve user experience and performance.
  • Manage and configure Shopify apps, integrations, and automations.
  • Work closely with the web developer on technical updates, fixes, and site enhancements.
  • Document recurring site tasks, procedures, and app configurations.
  • Stay informed about Shopify platform updates and recommend improvements.
