About The Position

The Website Content Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the user interface and content of SharePoint sites across the organization. This role involves close collaboration with System Administrators and Division Leads to design, develop, and update SharePoint environments that meet mission needs while ensuring compliance with DoD policies and security standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in website management, content development, and CMS administration.
  • Strong knowledge of SIPRNet, NIPRNet, SharePoint, and associated DoD web standards
  • Ability to manage both written and visual content to professional standards.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience developing and customizing web content using JSON, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Ability to manage multiple updates and tasks on a weekly basis with precision and timeliness.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field ( or equivalent experience)
  • Ability to obtain and hold a SECRET security clearance. Must be eligible for upgrade to TOP SECRET/SCI.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with NAVWAR or DoD systems highly desirable
  • Experience with SharePoint administration.
  • Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity and information assurance requirements.
  • Familiarity with backup and recovery processes for content/data management.

Responsibilities

  • Create, manage, and maintain professional quality content for JNWC SIPRNet website, NIPRNet presence, and related platforms.
  • Apply advanced website design and content management expertise to align with the latest design standards and maximize visibility and usability.
  • Identify and perform user-requested updates/changes to the JNWC NIPRNet SharePoint Site and other business/inventory management applications.
  • Conduct weekly data backups to ensure content and system reliability.
  • Develop and Maintain web content using JSON, HTLM, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Serve as a content developer and creator for SIPR SharePoint roles.
  • Manage the design and layout of SharePoint pages and ensure consistency across platforms.
  • Maintain compliance with DoD security, accessibility, and policy requirements.
