Mitchell Hamline is seeking a strategic Website and Digital Content Specialist to oversee the development, management, and optimization of our website along with the analytical review of digital content across our website, internal and external email campaigns and social media. The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing the law school's brand, engaging diverse audiences (prospective students, current students, alumni, faculty, and external stakeholders), and drive measurable outcomes through compelling content and data-driven insights. This position requires a blend of technical proficiency, analytical skills and creative storytelling to enhance the law school's digital presence. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the role involves working closely with all members of the marketing team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Website Content Management: Create, edit, post, and maintain engaging, accurate, and on-brand content for the law school's website, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and SEO and ADA best practices. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to collect or develop content that highlights academic programs, news, events, people and achievements. Successfully navigate our WordPress platform, provide assistance to team members across campus and serve as the go-to for content-related questions and updates. Email Content Creation: Manage the distribution of our email campaigns for diverse audiences, including prospective students, current students, alumni, donors, and other stakeholders. Assist with managing the email platform including distribution and schedules to maximize engagement and conversions. Stay current on industry trends, digital marketing best practices, and emerging technologies to keep content innovative and competitive. Digital Analytics and Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze digital performance metrics across website, email and social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics and email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Outlook and social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and management platforms like Sprout Social. Generate reports to evaluate content effectiveness, user engagement, and campaign performance, providing actionable insights to optimize strategies. Identify trends and recommend improvements to enhance digital reach and impact. Performs additional tasks as assigned to support marketing efforts.
