Weblogic Administrator with 8 plus years of experience Provide consultation, documentation and guidance during infrastructure upgrades. Provide support and consultation for disaster recovery exercises. Perform monitoring assessment and develop monitoring/productivity tools to proactively manage and troubleshoot the infrastructure. Interact with other teams, such as application code development teams or network team, to determine root cause of incidents and resolve them according to established Service Level Agreements. Contribute to the professional development, training, and performance programs of members within the team, including documentation. Experienced in Installation, configuration and tuning of Weblogic Application Servers in large scale environments Expertise in Clustering, Load Balancing, Scripting, Connection Pools, Thread management, logs etc. Experience in analyzing the various server logs and thread dumps to perform Root Cause Analysis Manage and configure database connections, through Java Database connectivity (JDBC) data-sources, and JDBC pools Experienced in integrating with WebSphere MQ using JMS Configure and deploy application code sets in various formats including EAR, WAR, and JAR files Should be able to use WLST / Unix scripts to automate routine WebLogic tasks Networking/TCP/IP knowledge required Experience with WebSphere 7 and 8 required Experience integrating with external authentication products desired Experience with monitoring tools such as Introscope, Splunk desired
