About The Position

The Weber Scholars will conduct mentored independent research on themes related to the core mission of the Institute for Freedom and Community on a public affairs/public policy topic of their choice.

Requirements

  • Acceptance into the Weber Scholars Summer Program
  • Ability to take responsibility for projects and communicate effectively with mentor
  • Ability to come to work when scheduled, and work consistently and efficiently to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Participation in the program requires a 40-hour weekly commitment for 10 weeks.
  • Participants are expected to take part in a weekly seminar, regular instruction in research methods, scheduled research conferences and symposia.
