Web Program Manager

Huntress
4h$150,000 - $160,000Remote

About The Position

We’re seeking a highly organized and technically-minded Program Manager to join our Web team. In this role, you will drive the intake, organization, and execution of content updates on huntress.com, translating marketing objectives into polished, high-performing digital experiences that align with our brand standards. You’ll work in lockstep with your manager to align marketing updates with technical sprints, balancing rapid execution with long-term roadmap goals and overall site health. You’ll also partner closely with our SEO team members to support their content expansion goals and ongoing site health improvement efforts. Beyond managing inbound content requests, you will be a proactive advocate for the site, leveraging data to identify opportunities for optimizing user journeys and conversion rates. When projects require functionality beyond our current site capabilities, you will partner with your manager and our web developers to define requirements and facilitate necessary changes. In addition, you’ll help maintain site integrity by identifying and reporting bugs, documenting technical issues, and verifying that updates function as intended via User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Finally, you’ll communicate consistently with stakeholders across the organization, acting as a bridge between the Web team and the broader Marketing department.

Requirements

  • Technical Aptitude: You have experience working within a content management system (Headless experience a huge plus)
  • Agile Experience: You are comfortable working in an Agile environment and understand how to manage a backlog of content tasks alongside technical development cycles.
  • Project Management: You possess a strong ability to track multiple requests simultaneously and keep projects moving forward in a fast-paced environment.
  • Web Literacy & QA: You have a solid understanding of web structures, SEO basics, and digital UX principles, with a knack for testing and verifying that technical updates function as intended.
  • Proactive Mindset: You don't just wait for instructions; you look for ways to improve the site and are comfortable reporting technical issues or making recommendations to drive results.
  • Communication: You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, allowing you to bridge the gap between "marketing" and "tech" for stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: You have a high degree of accuracy when handling content entry and a "detective" mindset for catching bugs and errors before they go live.

Responsibilities

  • Content Operations: You will lead the daily management and publishing of content within our Headless CMS to keep huntress.com up to date. You will also help maintain site integrity by identifying, documenting, and reporting bugs to the development team.
  • Stakeholder Management: You’ll act as a bridge between the Web team and the larger Marketing team to manage expectations, gather necessary assets, and ensure all site updates meet brand standards and delivery timelines.
  • Proactive Site Optimization: You will monitor site performance and user behavior to proactively suggest and implement updates that improve user experience and conversion.
  • Technical Liaison & UAT: You will partner with Product and Engineering to scope new site features and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure all new components and bug fixes are functional and brand-compliant before launch.
  • SEO & Site Health Support: You will work alongside our SEO group to facilitate rapid content expansion and implement on-page optimizations while supporting their ongoing site health and performance efforts.
  • Agile Workflow Integration: You will actively participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives) to ensure the content roadmap is synchronized with the development team’s technical sprints.
