About The Position

We're seeking a Mid-Level Full-Stack Developer to join our engineering team and contribute to building scalable web applications from database to user interface. You'll work alongside senior engineers, participate in architectural decisions, and leverage modern AI coding tools to accelerate development while maintaining high code quality.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional experience in full-stack web development
• Demonstrated proficiency with React.js including hooks, context API, and state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, or similar)
• Experience with PHP and thorough understanding of Wordpress
• Strong command of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
• Solid experience with Node.js and Express.js for backend development
• Proficiency in CSS/SCSS including responsive design techniques, Flexbox, and CSS Grid
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
• Understanding of RESTful API design principles and authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth)
• Proficiency with at least one AI-assisted coding tool: Cursor, Claude Code, or Windsurf
• Version control with Git and collaborative workflows (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket)
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, or similar)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes

Nice To Haves

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of GraphQL
• Experience with agile development methodologies
• Contributions to open-source projects
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using React.js and Node.js
• Build responsive, accessible user interfaces that deliver exceptional user experiences across devices
• Develop and optimize RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
• Write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive documentation and test coverage
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow developers through code reviews and technical discussions
• Utilize AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, or Windsurf) to improve development velocity and code quality
• Troubleshoot and debug applications across the full stack, identifying root causes and implementing solutions
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and best practices
• Help maintain and improve a number of existing Wordpress multi-site environments
