About The Position

The Web Developer will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining web-based applications and websites. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to create responsive and user-friendly websites that enhance the user experience. The ideal candidate will have experience with both front-end and back-end development and a passion for creating high-quality, scalable web solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Web Developer, Front-End Developer, or Full-Stack Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing web projects.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Strong experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, or PHP.
• Experience working with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and implementing data storage solutions.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub, Bitbucket).
• Strong understanding of web design principles, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with website performance optimization and SEO best practices.
• Knowledge of web security best practices and how to protect web applications from security threats.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment and manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach to coding and debugging.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Web Development: Develop, test, and maintain websites and web applications, ensuring they are responsive, secure, and optimized for performance across all devices and browsers.
• Front-End Development: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Back-End Development: Work with back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Ruby, PHP) and databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) to build and maintain the server-side logic and database interactions for web applications.
• Collaborate with Design Team: Work closely with the design team to implement responsive and visually appealing user interfaces that align with company branding and user experience goals.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, marketing teams, and other developers to understand project requirements, provide technical solutions, and ensure timely delivery of web-based projects.
• Troubleshooting & Debugging: Identify and resolve issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks in web applications and websites.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure that SkillersZone’s web products remain innovative and competitive.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct regular code reviews, write unit tests, and ensure that the codebase adheres to quality standards and best practices.
• Website Maintenance: Ensure that websites and applications are regularly updated, secure, and perform well. Handle software updates, security patches, and ongoing bug fixes.
• API Integration: Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance web functionality and improve user experience.
