About The Position

We are seeking a sharp, strategic Web Copywriter who can turn complex B2B value propositions into clear, compelling digital experiences that convert. You’ll own and optimize high-impact web copy across zoominfo.com—product pages, solution pages, campaign landing pages, resource hubs, and more. You’ll partner closely with growth marketing, product marketing, design, and web ops to create copy that is on-brand, performance-focused, and grounded in the realities of sales, marketing, and RevOps teams. This is a hands-on, data-informed role for someone who loves experimentation, is an enthusiastic adopter of AI, and can comfortably juggle multiple projects, stakeholders, and time zones.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional copywriting experience, with a strong focus on web and conversion copy for B2B or SaaS companies.
  • Demonstrated experience writing for sales, marketing, or revenue teams—you understand their pains, language, and goals.
  • A portfolio that showcases: High-impact website or landing page projects Clear before/after impact where possible (CTR, form fills, demo requests, etc.)
  • Proven ability to: Write crisp, human, value-focused copy that gets to the point quickly Structure pages for scannability and conversion (headlines, subheads, CTAs, social proof, etc.)
  • Eager and enthusiastic adopter of AI—you’re excited by how AI can scale ideation, experimentation, and personalization, and you know how to keep quality and voice intact
  • Content management systems (e.g., Contentful, WordPress, Drupal, Sitecore)
  • A/B testing and experimentation tools (e.g., Optimizely, VWO, Google Optimize alternatives)
  • Design and collaboration tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Miro)
  • Strong project and time management skills—you’re comfortable managing multiple workstreams, deadlines, and stakeholders without dropping details.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; you’re able to give and receive feedback, explain your rationale, and build trust with cross-functional partners.
  • Comfort working with distributed teams across time zones and adapting to changing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in B2B data, martech, salestech, or revenue platforms.
  • Background in CRO, lifecycle marketing, or direct-response copywriting.
  • Familiarity with behavioral triggers, personalization, and segmentation strategies for web experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Write and optimize high-converting web copy for: Product and solution pages Campaign and paid media landing pages Resource centers, feature overviews, and in-product education pages
  • Translate our platform’s capabilities—data, signals, workflows, AI—into clear, benefit-driven messaging that resonates with sales, marketing, RevOps, and GTM leaders
  • Partner with growth and lifecycle teams to align web copy with demand gen and ABM campaigns, ensuring a consistent story from ad to landing page to follow-up.
  • Collaborate with designers and web developers so that copy, UX, and visuals work as a single, cohesive experience.
  • Use analytics and A/B testing to inform and iterate on headlines, messaging hierarchies, page structure, and calls-to-action.
  • Leverage AI tools (including ZoomInfo’s own AI capabilities) to brainstorm variations, accelerate drafting, and identify optimization opportunities—while applying strong editorial judgment.
  • Maintain and evolve our web voice and messaging frameworks, ensuring consistency across pages, regions, and audiences.
  • Edit and refine copy from teammates, freelancers, and stakeholders to ensure clarity, consistency, and performance focus.
  • Contribute to conversion strategy: bring ideas for new tests, content modules, and page layouts aligned to funnel stages and buyer journeys.
  • Continuously deepen your understanding of our customers, market, and competitors to keep messaging sharp and differentiated.
